Peace be with you
… "...Stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Your every act should be done with love." 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 Here at
Maria Regina, Campus Ministry is a school-wide endeavor including students,
faculty, and staff. Striving for unity in diversity, we seek to
be attentive to students' ethnic, religious, learning styles, and cultural
diversity to foster a community of faith and learning where all are welcomed.
We seek to listen, inspire, and challenge students to dialogue to think
critically and creatively to equip and empower our young women to be missionary
disciples for a more just world. Campus
Ministry coordinates first Friday Liturgies, seasonal prayer services, and
grade-level retreats. Student-led ministries facilitated by the campus ministry
team include Peer Ministry, POP (People of Prayer), Bereavement Support Group,
Eucharistic Ministers, Liturgical Music Ministry, and Liturgy Crew. New
this year, November 1st and December 8th will be days of Peace and Service,
beginning with the celebration of the Mass. Mission
Outreach is a huge part of Maria
Regina. Through the many events and service opportunities throughout the
year, we aim to serve our community and help as many poor and vulnerable as
possible. The following are a few examples:
The
Maria Regina High School community is very generous in giving of themselves.
